I integrate brain-based, applied neurology drills with functional strength training to help you reduce your pain, improve your perofrmance, and get back to living your active life.

If pain or stalled progress has you wondering what you’re missing, you’re in the right place.Hi - I’m Andrew Eaton, and I’ll be your coach and guide as I introduce you to the power of applied neurology for pain management, improved performance, and more. What the heck is “applied neuro” - and why do you need it?Fair question. I asked it too. With 30+ years in the fitness and strength and conditioning worlds, along with multiple national certifications and accreditations, I wasn’t exactly looking for another educational rabbit hole. I felt like I had a pretty solid handle on what I was doing. My introduction to applied neurology came at me sideways while I was part of a mindset coaching mentorship. The mindset coaches were friends with a couple who specialized in teaching neurology to movement professionals. They hosted a “neurology of mindset” call, and it hit me pretty quickly: I knew a lot about the body - physics, mechanics, movement - but I knew almost nothing about the brain…which controls all of it.That realization was a little uncomfortable.I’d spent three-plus decades studying, coaching, and improving the body. But the fitness and wellness industries largely ignore nervous system integration. So even with all that experience, I couldn’t help everyone the way I wanted to. Progress happened - better movement, more strength, sometimes less pain - but it was slow. Everyone needed patience. And everyone was frustrated. There had to be a better way. Faster results. And results that actually stuck. The first thing I learned - and the thing that really hooked me - was this:Pain and injury are not the same thing. You can have an injury without pain.
You can have pain without injury.Pain is not coming from your knee, shoulder, or back. It’s coming from your brain.
It’s an output signal the nervous system uses to alert you to a perceived threat to your safety or performance. If you want to change the output, you have to change the input. That’s where applied neurology becomes incredibly powerful. By giving the nervous system better input - and restoring communication between systems that aren’t playing well together - we can often create meaningful changes in pain and performance much faster than traditional approaches. So this is where we begin. What’s your pain reduction or performance goal? What can’t you do right now that you want back?If you’re ready to stop guessing and start making real progress, let’s get to work.
